Main objective of the course Lucinda Cahill The main objective in Engineering 102 is to build drones and tents to fly them in. We will construct test tent enclosures and then buy tents to fly the drones in. We will then add sensors to the tents. We will then 3D print drones and add electronics to the drone. In this course there is as large fundraising component where we will work with Notre Dame High school's STEM program and have a drone competition using our drones and tents. Our aim is to raise money for the program and give back to the local community. I hope to encourage others to immerse themselves in STEM fields of study and discover the many job opportunities that such fields can offer.
